Jango sent out a tweet asking if anyone would be interested in joining the JB mulitsig.  There is a list of volunteers from around W3 as well as people who are more closely aligned with JB, jbx holders will have a chance to vote on delegates. With attempt to make the protocol less fragile.

Staking/ New Mechanism

New voting mech is a scenario where people can stake JBX for time which would give the app to have a weighted vote which they would use at snapshot- each position will be represented by a unique Banny NFT-

Currently thinking about the best way to offer this bc there isn’t an infinite amount of banny’s. How to differentiate between time staked, etc.

   • Recurring payouts renovation- Reminder that there are a handful of payouts that are about to expire all reoccurring payouts have a timeframe (90 day cycle). Keeps everyone accountable for what they’re doing

3. Peel DAO (join their discord)

   • Frontend now how’s it’s own dao (Peel DAO)! Will get paid as such and will be distributing payout and tokens to their contributors from their wallet.
   • Working on finding the best way to converse between peel and jb discord. Peel dao will mostly be related to their own governance for now. Fronted team consists of: Peri, Aeolian, Johnny D, JZ, and Torvus Bug
   • Plan to help with other project interfaces with JB projects.

   1. In an effort to streamline governance, the ability to submit proposals in now automated. You can choose your specific proposal type and fill out necessary info and upon submitting, it will be sent directly to discord and notion. Still exploring on full utility.

2. Guild.xyz tutorial on server

   1. The bot we use to token gate roles and areas of JB server. Right now it’s just to give the “Juicer” role to members who own JBX even if unclaimed (Collabland could not look at unclaimed tokens). Zeugh is setting up time with ppl from Guild to walk through how to use it in current projects (or ppl building new ones). Reach out to him in discord if you’re interested.

3. Frontend team updates

   -Jango mentioned the he appreciated the point about calling attention project owner behavior outside of standard “stuff”. Something to keep in mind is how to keep people better informed to allow them to at a glance get a sense of the current/ past state of funding cycle, where tokens minted outside of the direct contributors when and to whom (obviously DYOR for the user) but let’s try and move towards making it safer for everyone.

   Peri- There are tradeoffs when designing an interface- don’t want to overload ppl with information, we don’t want to confuse people esp if they’re newcomers but we should definitely prioritize highlighting any info that might indicate certain types of risks that come with JB projects (pre-minting tokens could be one of those, not that it’s inherently bad, but should be surface level info. Any ideas ppl have in regards to info that they feel isn’t being treated importunately enough- please point it out.
